It can feel very synchronistic when one sees certain number in conjunction with thinking certain things.

Most days, a person sees many numbers, many different numbers.

Most of the numbers we see every day are forgotten soon after seeing them. But some numbers are remembered for a long time.

Some numbers are remembered only if they're seen in conjunction with certain other events or thoughts, and not remembered otherwise.

The numbers that are remembered will almost always fall into one of these categories:

• The number has personal meaning.

• The number is emotionally significant.

• There is something unusual about the number that makes it notable.

When a person remembers seeing a certain number or types of numbers, but doesn't remember seeing others they also saw during the day, it makes it seem as if the number or type of number being remembered are the only numbers being seen.

Factually, it's not true that only those numbers are seen. But emotionally it seems to be true.

Remembering seeing only certain numbers can make it seem like it must be significant in some way. Whenever a person notices it seems like that, the number becomes more emotionally significant. And the more emotionally significant the number, the more often it's remembered when it's seen.

Numbers can become so significant, loaded personal questions about what the significance might mean, that the subconscious attempts to direct your attention to every occurrence of the number in your environment.

And then you remember seeing the number even more often.
