Seeing His Age, 53, Everywhere!

I met my soulmate last year. Alas, we were not meant to be. I keep seeing his age everywhere! Every time I look at the clock especially, he is 53 and I always see number 53! What does this link have with him, if any? And it must as I haven't seen it before like I do now.

Out of all the numbers a person sees during the day, the numbers with personal meaning or emotional significance tend to be remembered the most.
His age would be the link. When you see the number representing his age, you remember seeing it.
Because certain numbers are remembered, it seems as if those numbers are being seen more often than the numbers not so remembered. Seeming that way doesn't make it factually that way. Still, the way things seem is the way one's universe is perceived.
