Quite Often See the Time 9:17
Question:
I quite often see the time 9:17 and always see the number 17. I learned a few years ago that 17 is my angel number. My mother-in-law, whom I was very close to and was like a mother to me, recently died on 9/17. I'm curious if there's any connections there or meaning to this date and/or time? Her birthdate is 3/1/71.

The primary reason certain numbers are often seen is because the numbers already are somehow meaningful. Seeing the numbers is an effect of the numbers already having personal significance.
It works like this: A person sees many numbers. Only a few of them are remembered as having been seen. Those that are remembered are the ones that a person pays extra attention to at the moment of seeing — which generally are numbers with personal meaning or significance.
Angel numbers are outside the realm of traditional Pythagorean numerology.
As a note of interest, the number 17 is your unreduced life path number (month 5 + day 9 + year 3 = 17). The number 17 is your intrinsic life path number.
The number 17 is then reduced to the number 8 for your real life path number.
