Constantly Seeing My Wedding Date
Question:
Why do I consistently see my wedding date 820 on clocks (morning or night), amount on receipts, and address, on a license plate... but mostly clocks (phone, computer, tv, etc).
Answer: (Responses to questions rely on the accuracy of the name and birth date provided with the question. Typographical errors or incomplete information can result in an incorrect response.)
When it comes right down to basics, you see 820 because it is there to be seen. There are many other numbers there to be seen, too. But there is a reason you do not see those.
You don't remember seeing the other numbers because they don't have an instant special significance for you.
In other words, you remember 820 because you instantly recognize it as your wedding date. Because of that recognition, you give the 820 number more attention than you give the myriad of other numbers around you.
When you give 820 more attention than other numbers, you are more likely to remember seeing it. So, that's why you see it — because it is your wedding date.
