The numbers are the same as in your birth date. Because of the familiarity, you're apt to notice them when they're in your environment available to be seen.

Probably at some point, when you saw the numbers on the clock, you wondered if it means something that you happened to look at the clock at that very time.

Wondering about it set up a mystery. When there's a mystery of that kind, the subconscious directs the conscious attention to the subject of the mystery whenever it can.

Thus, you see it more often. And wonder more emphatically if there's a special meaning, which energizes the mystery even more, and causes you to see the time more often.
