What Numerology Is Used For

The way numerology works is that numbers are calculated from the name and birth date and placed on a chart. Each chart position represents certain aspects of a person and/or their life. The number in a chart position represents energies with influence on that aspect. Knowing the energies, a numerologist can interpret their effect at that chart position and in relation to other chart positions. The interpretation reveals the likelihoods and tendencies the number in that chart position represents.

Numerology chart numbers aren't used both consistently and effectively in any other way that I'm aware of.

Some people do use them in lotteries and other public games of chance. The numbers in your numerology chart are lucky numbers, but personal lucky numbers because they represent things that are attracted to you according to your numerological makeup. Personal lucky numbers aren't public lucky numbers and don't guarantee a win in public lotteries or games of chance. People who use their personal lucky numbers in lotteries or games of chance find they aren't consistently effective.

The numbers you use to reveal certain aspects of yourself and your life depend on where in your numerology chart the numbers are at. Numerology charts address many things. What is it that you are interested in?

Your three major name numbers and your life path number are the most important — have the most influence on you and your life. Your life path is the master number 11. Both your heart's desire and your personality numbers are the number 8. And your destiny number is the number 7.

Become familiar with those. Then you're likely to find yourself in a better position to determine which other aspects of you and your life you wish to know about.
