It depends on which numbers you are referring to.

If you are referring only to the birth date number (the life path number) and the name number (the destiny number), then it is not surprising.

Here is why:

• There are only 12 possible life path numbers. It is not surprising that two birth dates come up with the same number, just as it is not surprising that two birth dates have the same astrology sun sign.

• Similarly, there are only 12 possible destiny numbers. That two names have the same destiny number is not surprising.

• The same destiny and life path numbers for two different people, while less likely than only one of them being the same, also occurs once in a while.

Although they represent the most powerful energy of all numbers in a numerology chart, the life path and destiny numbers are also the most shared.

It is in the numbers of deeper calculations that the differences will be seen. The major cycles and the essence transit are two examples.
