Calculating the Life Path Number
Question:
How is my life path number calculated correctly? [birthdate removed] If I add all the numbers together, I get 2 when I reduce them. But if I add the month and day and year separately, I get 11 master number. Which is correct?
Answer: (Responses to questions rely on the accuracy of the name and birth date provided with the question. Typographical errors or incomplete information can result in an incorrect response.)
With Pythagorean numerology, calculating the life path number is done this way:
The month number is the sequential order of the month, reduced to a single digit unless a master number comes first.
For months, that would be January=1, February=2, and so forth. October is reduced to the number 1. November is the number 11, not reduced because 11 is a master number. And December is reduced to the number 3.
The day number is reduced to a single digit unless a master number comes first.
The year number is reduced to a single digit unless a master number comes first.
The numbers of the first three steps are added together. Then they are reduced to a single digit unless a master number comes first.
The life path article describes the procedure.
When you do the calculations that way, the result is a life path master number 11.
