Affect on Readings With Surname Change
Question:
Our family surname was changed due to an error of my grandparents, this surname has no roots. What effect does it have on my readings?
Answer: (Responses to questions rely on the accuracy of the name and birth date provided with the question. Typographical errors or incomplete information can result in an incorrect response.)
Your ancestral traits reading probably is different than it would have been without the surname change. The "probably" is a nod to the idea that the new surname and the previous surname may have the same name numbers — I don't have both surnames with me to compare.
What might have been is speculation. The current readings represent the current energy.
For most numerology readings, use the name first recorded at your birth, the name placed on your birth certificate.
If your current name is different than the birth name, then its energy may be sufficient to have a bearing on your numerology energy. How much depends on how much you identify yourself as the new name.
If you fully identify yourself as the new name, personal chart readings will likely be more accurate with that new name. But if you know yourself as your birth name, use your birth name for readings.
The energies of the birth name never go away. They will always have influence. But the energies represented by a new name, especially after a long enough time to be fully accepted, can be sufficiently robust to outweigh the birth name energy.
