Numerology can predetermine that things of a certain type are more likely to happen than things of certain other types. It is general. Almost never will it be specific.

Because people have free will, they can do what they decide to do. It is actions (and inactions) that create the future.

Taking a look at your own actions, the things you do and don't do, and determining what the result is likely to be, may be a better predictor of the future than any esoteric study is able to provide.

Still, numerology can provide clues by revealing tendencies and likelihoods.
