Consulting the numerology chart's personal month number is good instinct on your part.

Understand, though, that numerology doesn't say with firm certainty what will happen. Instead, it reveals tendencies and what is likely and less likely.

When a personal month number is 1 or 4 or 8, it's more likely for job and career-related events to occur. With a 9 personal month number, it's less likely. With a 5, the event may occur but either be unnoticed or deemed less important than what's currently being experienced. The 2, 3, 6, and 7 personal month numbers are somewhat ambivalent when it comes to career events — unless it has to do with (respectively) teamwork/diplomacy, creative expression, family/nurturing, or scientific/spiritual knowledge, in which case the event is more likely.

If the society where you were born generally uses the Ethiopian calendar to mark events, then also get your monthly number using that calendar. This requires several steps:

• Add together your birth month number, your birth day number, and the current year number according to the Ethiopian calendar. (The month number is the sequential number for the month. The first month of the year would be sequential number 1. The second month, sequential number 2. And so forth.)

• Reduce the total you obtained in the previous step until it is a single digit.

• Add the current month number to that single digit.

• Reduce that final total to a single digit. That is your personal month number for the current month.

Every month, the personal month number changes. Do the same calculations for each month you're interested in.

Of course, numerology won't go out and get a job for you. That part is up to you. It takes positive and effective action instead of waiting for things to happen.
