Deciding Major for College
Question:
I am soon going to college. I will be starting class this fall. I have had a very difficult time decided what to major in. At first, I wanted to major in psychology. I have always been very interested in psychology. That was my goal for many years of my childhood. Within the past year or so, I decided to major in art and minor in business instead. I wanted to start a business with art, somehow. I didn't really have a detailed plan. I just knew I wanted to do something with art. Recently, I've decided to major in interior design and minor in business. I decided that would be the best way to use my creativity to start a business. Regardless of what I do specifically, I know I want to start my own business. I feel the need to be in charge and I don't want to work beneath anyone. Sometimes I am still unsure about my choices. I worry that I will ultimately be unhappy with these decisions. Am I making the right decision? Should I pursue a career in interior design? Should I take the risk of starting my own business? I just feel so pressured to make these life-altering decisions that I am not prepared for.

With a 7 destiny number and a 7 heart's desire number, yes I understand that you want to make the best decision. It is part of the 7's characteristic to want to be perfect.
It is also a 7 characteristic to look within for answers. I'm certain whatever you decide will be the best decision to be made with the information you have available.
Small business and art is a wonderful idea. And yes, interior design, especially when incorporating visual art like paintings, sculpture, and classic or modern furniture design.
Psychology would be good, too, but the 7 may tend to make you less patient than would be ideal for that profession – stemming from your ability to see things more clearly than many others can and also the innate desire for perfection.
Your life path number 2 indicates events and circumstances in your life will require you to cooperate with others to get some things done and also require the practice of diplomacy. Relationships with others will be important – which is always the case in business, but with a life path number 2 is more important than it would be otherwise.
Doing anything in life is a risk. Some more than others, of course. Starting your own business is a risk. But if you don't take the risk, you'll never have the business.
Business itself is risky. Business climate changes, sometimes suddenly or even unpredictably. Customers and their tastes change. Business operations may need to change seemingly in mid-stride, goals shifted, offerings re-slanted to make them more desirable to the business' customers.
Many people fear failure. But failure can provide knowledge unattainable otherwise. Failure is something to fear only if a person doubts they can pick themselves up and start again.
If you never fail at anything, you'll learn very little and your knowledge will be shallower than it would otherwise be.
I wish you the best.
