'Class of 84' Name for Clothing Line

One day the words 'Class of 84' popped in my head and I have been thinking about it ever since. I keep thinking about 84 and I tried to research what it may symbolize but, I ended up with nothing. What do these numbers mean separately and then together? I told my boyfriend about the number and he thought it would be a nice name for a clothing line, which I am in the process of building now and I don't have a name for my line yet.
