Numerology Answers > What Does This Number Mean?

Tattooed 12:12

Question:
Blessings... I started seeing the number 12:12 about 6 years ago during a difficult relationship and thought it was a sign for me to try harder with that lover, as I read it was a number associated with twin flames... we even got the numbers tattooed on us as a way to stay connected. We didn't stay together long after that... For the past few years I've been seeing 12:21 almost every day, usually twice a day. I would really appreciate more insight into why I am constantly seeing this number... and what I'm suppose to do with the reoccurring message. It feels like it won't leave me alone, even feels like it's yelling at me. But I don't know what to do with it. If you have any insights into why or what I can do with this reoccurring message I would humbly appreciate it. Many thanks!

The numerology energy represented by the number 12 and the energy represented by the number 21 are similar. Both vibrate with, among other things, creative expression.

The numerology energy represented by the number 12:12 and the energy represented by the number 12:21 are also similar. Both vibrate with, among other things, home and family.

It is understandable that a person wants to know the reasons for things. The need is so strong that people will assume an answer for a bit of relief from the need to know.

Generally, the reason a person sees certain numbers is because the numbers have personal meaning, emotional significance for the person, or a construction that is unusual.

By "personal meaning" it is meant numbers like birthday numbers, anniversary dates, the price of a favorite jewelry item, things like that with a meaning for the person.

By "emotional significance" it is meant numbers that evoke needs or emotions in a person.

And by "construction that is unusual" it is meant numbers that the person sees as unusual, which may be repetitive numbers (like 12:12), sequential (like 1234), or mirror image (like 1331), as examples.

Actually, seeing the number isn't a 100% correct term. A person sees many different numbers during a day. It's the numbers that are remembered that people usually refer to as seeing. They don't remember seeing the others.

Although it happens every day, twice a day in places where a 12-hour clock is used, the number 12:12 can be seen as unusual. Which may be why you noticed it in the first place.

Wondering if it means something or if it is a personal message, and sharing it with your lover who also wonders, and agreeing with each other that it must mean something, generates a lot of emotional significance.

With all that emotional significance attached to the number, it's no wonder you remembered seeing it as often as you did.

The number 12:21 is also an unusual construction, the 12 and the 21 being a mirror image of each other. And because it is so similar to 12:12, it is readily invested with emotional significance.
