How To Get the Best Reading

Here are a few points to keep in mind:

  1. The results for the "Name" and "Birth Date" areas are calculated independent of each other. Thus, you can get a reading even if only one of them contains data.

  2. Enter the full name exactly as first recorded — probably a birth certificate — even if the first recording was misspelled. (If such is your case, you may wish to test which is most accurate for you. To avoid personal prejudice, you can have someone else enter the different readings for you, not telling you which order the readings are presented.)

The name at birth may be considered to have analogous aspects to the foundation of a house.

Continuing the analogy, the house may be

    • remodeled (like having an alternate but commonly known name for a long time or a married name after some years),
    • re-painted (like a new married name or a nickname at work might do), or
    • decorated for an occasion (like a spontaneous, temporary nickname might do).

The remodeling, re-painting, and decorating change the house. But the foundation always remains the same.

Every name changes a person by adding certain vibrations. But the vibrations at birth will always be there.

If your name was given to you spelled with the English language, accented letters are treated as if they are unaccented and non-alphabetical characters are ignored. If non-English and if the alphabet includes accented letters in their own positions, then the accented letters are treated as unique letters. (This numerology site uses only the English alphabet.)

  3. Enter the correct birth date, regardless how it was/is recorded.

  4. Use only valid Gregorian calendar dates (Earth's current calendar) in the "Birth Date" area. Using Julian and other historical calendars may render inaccurate readings.

  5. Use no numbers in the "Name" area. If you use numbers in the name area, the results will be skewed. So, no street or telephone numbers.

Has your name changed?

Your name at birth will always have an influence on you.

The amount of influence your new name has on your life depends on how much you identify with it. If your name has only recently changed, within the last year or two, then the new name may have only some influence. If more time has passed and you are identifying strongly with your current name, then it will have a stronger influence.

Get a reading for both names. Compare them. The first name will always have some influence. But the new name can override contradictory aspects if your identification with the new name is very solid.
