Instant Numerology

Q.

Hi. I have encountered something called "Instant Numerology" but it is not like the numerology with which I am familiar. It takes the numbers of the letters of the name and arranges them on a 3 by 3 grid. For instance, if my name were "david" I would have two "d's" (4's), an a (1), an "i" (9) and a "v" (another 4). Lines of influence are then drawn between these numbers and a reading is constructed without ever adding anything together or coming up with a total sum.

I'm confused. Can you help?

A.

There are several different methods of numerology calculation and reading. It is not a unified study or practice. The Chaldean and Pythagoran methods may be the most widely used. Methods based on the Hebrew alphabet also have their practitioners.

I'm not familiar with the "Instant Numerology" method, so can't comment on it specifically.
