Why am I always seeing the number 1....in sets of 3 or 4 on clocks etc. Thank you.

The first letter of your name is a 1, and your consonants number (outward expression number) is a 1. But other than that, I see no slant or inclination toward that number in either your name or your birth date.
The number 1 represents new beginnings. It is a number of independence, of research, of exploration, and of leadership.
If you've had your attention on those things, it might make your mentality more receptive to noticing that digit or to put special significance to the fact of noticing. After a while of noticing a number as a result of putting attention on certain things, then the noticing could become a mental habit. The habit can extend well past the point where the significance ceased to be present.
